On November 1 – 3 the 15th exhibition
“Cryogen-Expo. Industrial Gases - 2016” took place at
Pavilion 5, Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow. The
international specialized event annually gathers at one
ground the Russian and foreign producers of cryogenic
equipment, air separation units, compressor and heat
exchanging equipment; developers of technologies and
technique for production and transportation of industrial
gases and LNG.
65 companies (43 domestic and 22 foreign
ones) from 14 countries (Russia, Austria, Germany,
France, the USA, Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic,
Ukraine, Turkey, China, Portugal, India, the UK) took part
in the exhibition. Such industry leaders as Uralcryomash
(Russia), Cryomash-BZKM (Russia), NPO Gelyimash
(Russia), ZAO Plant GT7 (Russia), NPO Regulyator
(Russia), Chart Ferox (Czech Republic), VRV Group
(Italy), Fives (Switzerland), Lydall (USA)
presented their products and services. The exhibition total
area occupied 2400 sq.m.
AO “Uralcryomash” presented a tank
container KTSM-40/0,7 for transportation by motorway,
railway and maritime transport and LNG storage, securing its
safety and sustainability.
FARGAZ RUS took part in the exhibition
for the first time, presenting high-pressure valves for a
variety of gases, gas pressure regulators (CNG and LPG)
valves LPG for tanks and LNG.
The new exhibitor - Active Aerogels
(Portugal) – offered ultra-light aerogels with very low
thermal conductivity and high porosity for large temperature
ranges (-250ºC to 350ºC).
In the frames of the exposition the
specialists of the Moscow Aviation Institute (National
Research University) presented the model of a high-speed
motorway based on HTS-technology of their own development.
Goetze Armaturen demonstrated a broad
range of valves for every industrial application: liquids of
all kinds, gases, technical vapours, cryogenic liquefied
gases and steam, used with temperatures ranging from –200°C
up to 400°.
Cryopump Asia / Ventos Compressors
(India/ Italy) offered cryogenic pumps, pressure pumps for
cylinder fillling, centrifugal pumps for liquid transfer
desgined with Swiss technology as well as a complete range
of compressors for gases like hydrogen, helium, oxygen,
argon, SF6, xenon and CO2.
Cryogenic projects which include the
development and manufacture of rotary machines operating
with low temperature gases or liquids in the range of 4 K to
150 K were presented by an exhibitor from Czech Republic -
PBS Velká Bíteš.
The event was accompanied by a diversified
Business program which included the reports of the leading
Russian and foreign scientists, industry specialists and
experts. In the framework of the Business program the 13th
Scientific & Research Conference “Cryogenic Technologies
and Equipment. Prospects of Development”, International
Conferences “Industrial Gases”, “Liquefied Natural
Gas”, “Large Scale Applications of Superconductivity
and Cryogenic Technologies”, the International “Valve
Industry Forum & Expo. Equipment for critical service
conditions” and the Session of the Committee on
refrigeration and cryogenic industry under the Russian
Engineering Union “Creation of the Russian infrastructure
for production, storage, transportation and use of the
liquefied natural gas on the base of domestic
machine-building complex” were carried out.
More than 2000 specialists visited the
exhibition, among which are the representatives of oil
and gas companies, metallurgical and machinery-building
enterprises, scientific-research institutes, enterprises of
chemical, food, medical, aerospace, atomic, defense,
transport, shipbuilding, railroad, energetic industries,
welding and electronics.
The exhibition demonstrated a qualitative
growth and received many positive reviews from the
exhibitors and visitors. The exhibitor composition was
replenished by the new names, the subject matter and the
Busuiness program of the exhibition broadened. The
cooperation of the organizers with branch industrial
associations in the sphere of cryogenics and technical gases
strengthened. In the opinion of most of the participants,
“Cryogen-Expo. Industrial Gases” is an important industrial
event which favors to the establishment of new efficient
business contacts and strengthening relationship between
long-standing partners.
