MAI educates the world elite of the engineering
staff through forward-looking research on all stages of the
life cycle of aviation, rocket and space technology. More
than 80% of MAI graduates work for “CNIIMash”, Moscow
helicopter plant named after Mile, RKK "Energia" named after
Korolev, "Sukhoi”, "MiG", "Tactical missiles", "Kamov", "Irkut",
"Almaz-Antey". Some aircrafts such as MiG, Ilyushin, Tupolev,
UC; Mi, Ka; supersonic anti-ship missile "Mosquito"; the
carrier rocket "Soyuz-U"; solid-propellant ballistic missile
"Bulava-30"; the control systems of rocket "Proton" and "Zenith";
rocket engines RD-120, RD-170 and RD-180 were manufactured
under the supervision and with the participation of the MAI
graduates.
