Information Report on the activity at the 5th International Specialized Exhibition "Cryogen-Expo - 2006":

The 5th International Specialized Trade Fair “Cryogen-Expo” held at the Center “Moskva” (The All Russian Exhibition Center, Hall No70) was over on November 17, 2006. It was organized by the Exhibition Company “Mir-Expo” under the auspices of the International Academy of Refrigeration, the Moscow Center “Moskva” for promoting science and technology achievements, the “UA-SIGMA” Ukrainian Association of Industrial Gases Manufacturers .
The main purpose of the exhibition was to enable the exhibitors to establish new business contacts and partner relations, to develop cryogenic engineering and to widely apply the cryogenic technologies in the different branches of industry and medicine.

Being highly appreciated by the specialists the exhibition broadly reflects the state of affairs and prospects of development in the field of cryogenics. The number of the participants and the total amount of the exhibition spaces was 30% increased.

The nearly all cryogenic divisions were exposed at the Fair: the cryogenic, helium, refrigeration, cryo-thermo-vacuum, air-fractioning units, the air separating installations, heat-exchanges, pumps and compressors, tanks; the manufacture, storage and transportation of the liquid natural gas; the technologies of producing and using the rare gases, achievements in the field of cryomedicine.

Two International practical-research conferences were carried out in the framework of the Exhibition:

The 3rd “Cryogenic Technologies and Equipment. Prospects of Development” Conference;

The 3rd “New Achievements in Practical Medical Cryology” Conference.

The technical posters on the exhibition floor were delivered by the specialists of the Moscow Power Engineering institute (TU). The presentation of the goods being produced by the “RosRoca Indox” company (Spain) was run.
More than 500 specialists involved in the manufacture, representatives of the scientific-technical organizations, R&D and educational institutes have visited the exhibition.

The Organizing Committee activity during the exhibition was approved as a whole, several applications being accepted for the next year.

The 6th International Specialized Exhibition “Cryogen-Expo - 2007” is to be held on November 13-16, 2007. The “Cryogenic Technologies and Equipment. Prospects of Development” International Practical-Research Conference is to be run in the framework of the exhibition.
